The terms that apply when you book tuition with us or use our website and student portal.
Last updated: October 2026
1. About these terms
These terms apply between you and EduNoetic Solutions (“we”, “us”, “our”). EduNoetic Solutions is the trading name of EduNoetic Solutions Limited, a private limited company registered in England and Wales (company number 16543138). Our registered office is 71-75 Shelton Street, Covent Garden, London, WC2H 9JQ, United Kingdom. You can contact us at contact@edunoetic.co.uk or +44 7775423712.
“You” means the person who books or pays for lessons. That is the parent or guardian for a student under 18, or the student if they are 18 or over. Students who use our portal also agree to the rules in sections 7 to 9.
Please read these terms together with our Privacy policy and Cookie policy. If you book as a consumer, nothing in these terms affects your legal rights, for example under the Consumer Rights Act 2015.
2. Our services
We provide tuition coordination, matching with a tutor, and educational support, subject to availability and suitability. This includes one-to-one and group tuition, exam preparation, coding lessons and online tests. Lessons are online or in person, as agreed with you.
Our student portal and workspace, and our online tests, are provided for us by TargetGrade, a product of Gradespace Ltd (company no. 13919800).
3. Enquiries, matching and bookings
- Enquiring. When you send an enquiry or booking request, you agree that we can contact you about it. For a student under 18, we deal with the parent or guardian, and every email about lessons goes to them.
- Matching. We aim to match you with a suitable tutor within 24 hours of your request. If a match isn’t right, we will work with you to arrange another tutor at no extra cost.
- Booking online. When you book a lesson online, we confirm it by email with a calendar invite. You can use the link in that email to see, move or cancel the lesson. A booking is accepted when we confirm it.
- Accurate details. Please give us correct details, including whether the student is under 18, and tell us if anything changes.
4. The free consultation
Every new student can have a free 30-minute consultation with their tutor, online or in person. It is a chance to check the tutor is a good fit and to agree a study plan. There is no charge, and you are under no obligation to book further lessons.
5. Lessons
- Online lessons run on Zoom. You need a working internet connection, a device with a camera and microphone, and a quiet space. We send the meeting link before the lesson.
- In-person lessons are arranged in your area where a tutor is available, at your home or another place we agree with you. Any travel charge is agreed with you before the first lesson.
- Recordings. We record an online lesson only if you ask. A recording contains only the lesson itself: the shared screen or whiteboard and the audio. Students’ cameras are never recorded. Only the student, their parent or guardian and the tutor can watch it. It is deleted after 90 days, or sooner if you ask. You can ask us to stop recording at any time.
- Results. We work hard to help every student improve, but we can’t guarantee particular grades or exam results.
6. Prices, payment and cancellation
- Prices. Our current prices are shown on our website. Session terms, pricing and payment timing are confirmed with you during onboarding, before lessons start.
- Paying. Lessons are paid for in advance. Payment for a lesson, or for a block of lessons, is due before it takes place. You can pay by bank transfer or card. If a payment is late, we may pause lessons until it is paid.
- Packages. Lessons in a package must be used within 6 months of buying it, unless the package says otherwise. Lessons not used within that time expire.
- Cancelling or moving a lesson. You can move or cancel a lesson free of charge with at least 24 hours’ notice, using the link in your confirmation email or by contacting us. If you give less notice, or the student doesn’t attend, the lesson is charged in full, as communicated in advance.
- If we cancel. If we or your tutor have to cancel a lesson, we will offer another time or refund that lesson.
- Your right to cancel (cooling-off). If you book online, by phone or by email, you have 14 days from the date of the booking to cancel and get a full refund. Just tell us that you want to cancel. Lessons won’t start within those 14 days unless you expressly ask for them to. If you do ask, and then cancel within the 14 days, you pay for the lessons already given, as the Consumer Contracts Regulations 2013 allow.
- Gift vouchers, if we sell them, can be used until the expiry date shown on the voucher.
7. Conduct and safeguarding
Safeguarding. Students’ safety comes first:
- All our tutors go through a DBS check before working with children. They also complete a subject knowledge assessment and a live teaching demonstration before joining us.
- We have a designated safeguarding lead, who you can contact through contact@edunoetic.co.uk. Our safeguarding policy is available on request.
- Online lessons with students under 18: the parent or guardian is told when lessons take place. The student should be in a suitable shared space, not a bedroom.
- In-person lessons with students under 18: a parent, guardian or other responsible adult must be at home throughout the lesson.
- Tutors contact students only through our portal, our email, or channels the parent or guardian has agreed to. They never use personal social media.
- If you are worried about a student’s safety, contact our safeguarding lead straight away. If a child is in immediate danger, call 999.
Everyone using our services must:
- treat tutors, staff, students and families with respect;
- not misuse portal messages, give false information or behave in an abusive way;
- not share, record or post lesson content, or other people’s information, without permission.
If these rules are broken, we may suspend portal access or end lessons. Where we can, we will talk to you first.
8. Student and staff portal accounts
- Registered students and staff can use our portal. Each person gets an invitation, and the sign-in link in it lasts 7 days.
- Accounts are personal and can’t be transferred. Keep your password private and don’t share your account. You are responsible for what is done with your account.
- For students under 18, the parent or guardian gets copies of account emails, class messages and new assignments, and is told when work is marked.
- The portal records when a student first opens a class message, so tutors can see who has read it.
- Office staff can view the portal as a student to check what they see. These previews are read-only and logged.
- Students can hand in text, links or files. Files can be documents, spreadsheets, presentations, images or audio, up to 10 MB each. Handed-in work is kept for 24 months and then deleted, so please keep your own copy.
- An account is closed when the student’s record is deleted. We may suspend an account that breaks these terms.
9. Online tests and AI mark suggestions
- Online tests run on TargetGrade, a product of Gradespace Ltd, which provides it for us. Students must do tests themselves, without help unless the tutor allows it.
- Tutors may use AI mark suggestions on written work, including for students under 18. A tutor always reviews the suggestion and decides the mark. The student’s name is not sent with the work. A parent, guardian or adult student can ask for the student’s work to be left out of AI suggestions. Email contact@edunoetic.co.uk or tell your tutor. See our Privacy policy for details.
- Marks and feedback show progress. They are not official exam grades.
10. Intellectual property
All materials, resources and content on our website and portal belong to EduNoetic Solutions or to their creators. You may use them for your own or your child’s learning. You may not copy, share, sell or publish them without our written permission.
Students keep ownership of the work they hand in. You allow us and our tutors to use it to mark it, give feedback and track progress.
11. Our responsibility to you
- We provide our services with reasonable care and skill.
- If we don’t, we are responsible for loss you suffer that was a foreseeable result. We aren’t responsible for loss that wasn’t foreseeable, or for business losses.
- As far as the law allows, our liability is limited to direct losses. Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid us in the 12 months before the claim. We are not liable for indirect or consequential losses.
- Nothing in these terms limits or excludes our liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else the law doesn’t allow us to limit.
- We try to keep the website and portal available and working, but we can’t promise they will always be available or free of faults.
12. Complaints
If something isn’t right, please tell us at contact@edunoetic.co.uk. We will acknowledge your complaint within 5 working days and give you a full answer within 20 working days. For complaints about how we use personal information, see our Privacy policy.
13. Ending our agreement
You can stop lessons at any time by telling us. You will still need to pay for lessons already given, and for late cancellations as set out in section 6.
We may stop providing lessons if you seriously or repeatedly break these terms, or if we can no longer provide a suitable tutor. If so, we will refund any lessons paid for but not given.
14. Governing law
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales, and the courts of England and Wales can hear disputes. If you live in Scotland or Northern Ireland, you can also bring proceedings in your local courts.
15. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time, and the date at the top shows the latest version. If we make a significant change, we will tell families and students with portal accounts by email. Changes don’t apply to lessons already booked and paid for, unless the law requires it.
16. Contact
Questions about these terms: contact@edunoetic.co.uk or +44 7775423712.
